Hey Lilly, can we chat for a sec? I’ve been feeling a bit uneasy lately... It’s about Steven. He’s been so distant and always staying late at work. I just don’t know what’s going on with him.
Oh no, that sounds really tough. Maybe he’s just caught up with a big project? You know how stressful deadlines can be. Have you tried talking to him about how you feel?
I have, but every time I bring it up, he says it’s just work pressure and that I shouldn’t worry. But it’s just not like him to be so absent... It feels like he’s avoiding me.
That must be really hard on you. It’s important to trust your instincts, but sometimes stress can really change someone’s behavior. Maybe give him a little space and see if things settle down? I’m here for you, though.
